The big explosion

There were lots of things recently, like midterm exams and the choral competition. I can't completely relax until now. Last week, I didn't sleep for more than six hours at any night. I take so many courses that I have a large number of reports and I don't have enough time to prepare. At the same time, I must spend time practicing for the choral competition on every Monday and Thursday night, which made me extremely tired. Last Saturday, I cannot help but burst into tears in the dormitory. When I got up, my roommates all went out. Planning which thing I should do first, I felt very annoyed and anxious. Suddenly, I didn't know how to express my helplessness, so I cried out aloud. Playing the music in my cell phone randomly, I kept crying in the whole afternoon. At night, I finally stopped and my eyelids were seriously swollen. However, I got much better. It was very relaxing to express my true emotion, without needing to hide myself in public. After doing this, I had more strength to face the following difficulties. To me, this big explosion was not a bad thing. It was a special definition of happiness or content. Going through this process, now I feel really happy. :)

  1. Hi, Angel :)
I think it's a tough year for us to live a life without family around us in our freshmen year. Sometimes, I would feel lonely and helpless; however, to find a way to relieve pressure is important, and I think you have find your way. Hope that you can be always happy.

    1. Dear Peggy,
I totally agree with you. From these experiences, I learn lots of things and try hard to be more mature. I believe there will be more and more difficulties in the future, so we must keep going. Though I don’t know how well I can do, I will work and enjoy my college life as hard as possible. Let’s cheer each other together!!

  2. Hey Angel
Dislike you, my miserable life started this week. The senior asked me to be the leader of one drama and one dance. But my department, risk management and insurance also have three quizzes and one midterm test! I want to cry with you! I think that crying has no help before; however, after I read a novel last week, I have changed my notion. In this novel, it says, I laugh when I am happy; I cry when I am sad. You say that cry has no help. Then doesn’t cry have any help? So, I will cry out loud when I finish all my jobs.

    1. Dear Alice,
The end of the semester is coming soon. How fast time flies! It seems that you get busier and busier recently. I hope and believe you can handle all the things well. To us, freshman life is much more difficult than our past life. We have to study, live, and do everything by ourselves. Needless to say, it’s tough to get used to this at once. However, I believe if we insist our attitude, we will overcome them and have a happy college life. I don’t say crying doesn’t have any help. Doing it appropriately can relieve the tense feeling. (I try it very often, and it really works.) Overall, we must keep going and enjoy every day happy. :)
