AT Seventh Family

Last Saturday, I eventually had my accounting family reunion with my seniors. We should have held it at the beginning of this semester, but it was delayed because my study partner and I had our first accounting exam at that time. Our other classmates who met and ate with their seniors kept talking about how fun their reunions were. That made me look forward to it excitedly. Therefore, when knowing the new meeting date, I immediately planned everything. And on Saturday, I spent all morning studying for my midterm exam, leaving completely leisure time in the afternoon to play to my heart’s content.
We met at the gate of NCCU, and then went to Ximen together by bus and MRT. The restaurant we reserved was Skylark, which features Californian food. The food was delicious. But to be honest, my study partner and I were very nervous because it was our first time to have dinner with five seniors, and two of them are third-year university students. However, the whole atmosphere was warm. Though we were a little quiet, they still tried hard to chat and get closer with us. At the end, we even went shopping together. I finally realized the meaning of this family reunion tradition, particularly after we received our all-pass chocolate and cookies. We are like a real family. The dinner was not just a free meal paid by our seniors, it made us get familiar with one another. I like the kind of feeling very much. It was a definitely great experience. I hope and believe we can chat more happily next time.
