Last Saturday, I eventually had my accounting family reunion with my seniors. We should have held it at the beginning of this semester, but it was delayed because my study partner and I had our first accounting exam at that time. Our other classmates who met and ate with their seniors kept talking about how fun their reunions were. That made me look forward to it excitedly. Therefore, when knowing the new meeting date, I immediately planned everything. And on Saturday, I spent all morning studying for my midterm exam, leaving completely leisure time in the afternoon to play to my heart’s content.
We met at the gate of NCCU, and then went to Ximen together by bus and MRT. The restaurant we reserved was Skylark, which features Californian food. The food was delicious. But to be honest, my study partner and I were very nervous because it was our first time to have dinner with five seniors, and two of them are third-year university students. However, the whole atmosphere was warm. Though we were a little quiet, they still tried hard to chat and get closer with us. At the end, we even went shopping together. I finally realized the meaning of this family reunion tradition, particularly after we received our all-pass chocolate and cookies. We are like a real family. The dinner was not just a free meal paid by our seniors, it made us get familiar with one another. I like the kind of feeling very much. It was a definitely great experience. I hope and believe we can chat more happily next time.

Dear Angel,
ReplyDeleteFamily reunion is indeed a good way of getting closer to seniors. It’s quite normal to feel nervous in the first family reunion because you were not acquainted with your seniors. To tell the truth, I was also nervous in the first family reunion because I had to make a self-introduction to my seniors whom I had never seen before. Fortunately, my seniors are very friendly and nice. I think my first family reunion is memorable because I ate delicious food and chatted happily with my study partners.
Dear Amber Mao,
DeleteIs it really normal? I'm afraid that it's our problem. (Maybe we should chat with them first?) My senior is a cute girl, but she is so shy that we can't talk for a long time. That annoys me a lot. I really want to get closer with her.:(
Hey Angel
ReplyDeleteWe RMI sixth and ninth family had family reunion in October. I think that it is really a good method to know each other. Through the family reunion, I become closer with not only the sophomore but also the junior and senior. The feelings that many seniors care about you is so wonderful that I almost cry. Though I didn’t all pass, the all pass candy is also sweet in my heart. I think you have the same feelings, too. I am so happy to join the NCCU family.
Dear Alice Lin,
DeleteIt seems you have wonderful reunions, and that is very good. In the following years in NCCU, you can accompany one another and share many things, no matter they are happy or sad ones. You won't definitely feel lonely.
By the way, I'm sorry for hearing that you didn't all pass. Final exams are coming soon. I expect that we can both do well on not only our NCCU family relationship but also our grades.:)
Dear Steven,
ReplyDeleteI'm really curious how many families you have. I heard that every boy in our department has many families because boys are precious in AT. Is it true?XD
Though I didn't talk to you before, many people around me said you are a very good and talkative person. So I think you must get along with your families very well. Accompanied by these warm seniors, we must also remember to do it in the next year. And let the tradition pass down in AT forever!!
